When London post-production house Absolute Post needed highly specialist compositors fast, they turned to us for help.
But with the scale of talent they needed, the short turnaround, and the niche skills required, we immediately knew that sourcing within the UK would be difficult and result in a lack of availability and choice.
The solution: international sourcing
We dived into the international talent market for remote workers, dramatically increasing talent selection. Serendipitously, it also resulted in a dramatic cost savings for the client.
Absolute had told us they needed the best compositors for the high budget cinematic projects they had.
My team utilised our internal database and went deep into the market across Europe, identifying a huge range of viable candidates. We selected the very best using our Compatibility Testing approach, and delivered the final shortlist to Absolute for their screening process.
The fiddly bits – legalities and compliance
We took care of all compliance and legal components – all Absolute had to do was interview our pre-screened, Compatibility Tested candidates, and then begin working with those that they chosen.
The outcome
Absolute were delighted with the results of the search – and hugely impressed by the credits of those we had found.
Our chosen freelancers went onto become part of their team for the duration of the projects – working remotely into their secure media systems and tech stacks.
The cost savings
International sourcing also reduced costs, enabling Absolute to both adjust budgets downwards plus deploy more talents across more days.
