How Compatibility Testing works
At Yellowcat, we emphasise gaining a deeper understanding of candidates, through an interview process conducted with the objective of understanding their compatibility with the project at hand.
How does it work? It begins during our initial interviews with potential candidates. We want to quickly identify if they are aligned to all aspects of the opportunity as any red flags are immediately identified.
From there, we explore their motivations, working style, and cultural fit to ensure they align with both the creative vision and team dynamics.
By combining our experience with structured insight, we’re able to present only those candidates who not only have the right skills but who will thrive in the specific environment of the project, saving our clients valuable time and ensuring consistently stronger matches.
Building the team
For this project, it was vital that candidates wouldn’t only work well within Amazon’s requirements, but equally with each other.
By the end of the two weeks Amazon allocated us to source talent, we’d met and interviewed more than seventy five potential candidates.
From our compatibility testing process, we carefully selected and assembled a team whose mix of skills, personalities, and creative strengths complemented one another perfectly.
The outcome
9 of the 12 freelancers we sent to Amazon Alexa were hired into permanent roles – several have since been promoted.
