Vice Media wanted a recruitment consultancy who could help them ramp up their ability to deliver a vast amount of video content in a short space of time, so the Pipeline Cat was a perfect solution for them. We gave them the chance to choose the talent pipelines that they wished us to build for them (e.g. Editors, Audio Mixers, Colour Graders, Post Production Assistants, Assistant Editors etc.) and from there they could select the talents that wanted to hire quickly and onboard efficiently.
With Vice Media being a new client of Yellow Cat, we had to move quickly on all aspects of the hiring solution. We spent a good amount of time fully understanding the bigger picture of what Vice Media were trying to achieve and then suggested our best solution to exceed their expectations. We understood our role and the importance of supplying them with high-calibre talent that had the relevant experience and availability that matched what was needed. We quickly got to work ensuring there was dedicated support across the whole project – from the resourcing of multiple talents, to the account management of the ever-changing requirements, to efficiently onboarding them into their respective freelance positions, through to delivering a post project analysis to benefit further high-volume freelance campaigns in the future.
We were instrumental in placing over 25 different freelancers into their projects within the first two months of the campaign, with many still working at Vice Media way beyond the initial dates given to us. Not only did we deliver on what was initial asked of us at the very start, but we have continued the relationship and continue to pipeline talent across the different job disciples.
