Content Operations Coordinator

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join a globally renowned television production company as a Content Operations Coordinator. You will be joining a small, fast-paced team overseeing language customisation for multiple feeds, based in the heart of London.

The Role

Responsible for co-ordinating the compliance edits and language versioning for a selection of channels, ensuring content is ready for transmission and schedules are completed for the relevant channel in time for programme transmission dates.

This role requires daily liaison with the Reversioning Team, language vendors and the transmission facility to co-ordinate the materials to and from the language vendor, troubleshoot any issues with reference materials for suppliers and also solve any issues with languages that have delivered back.

  • Keeping digital records accurate and up to date.
  • Booking internal edits through ScheduALL, and obtaining sign-off.
  • Liaising with the Reversioning, Compliance and Post Teams.
  • Ordering the required languages for your channel, issuing sub-dubs, sending scripts and material to suppliers.
  • Effectively managing and coordinating the trafficking of materials to and from the translation facilities across Europe ensuring they are delivered in time for transmission.
  • Effectively hitting all deadlines for delivery, dispatch and return of materials.
  • Troubleshooting any late running programmes and files, daily dealings with language supplier requests for replacement reference materials and managing replacements for faulty language files.
  • Updating database with language information and updating relevant systems and documents with any cancellations.
  • Tracking and checking invoices against deliveries.
  • High level of communication internally and externally regarding programme languaging deadlines.

The Person

  • Experience within the broadcast industry (desirable).
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills, previous use of ScheduALL preferable.
  • Attention to detail essential.
  • The ability to prioritise and effectively manage a large number of different projects simultaneously and prioritising as necessary.
  • Excellent people and interpersonal skills, good team player.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to different demands
  • Initiative, proactivity and motivation.
  • European language skills would be an advantage.
